This is the first book of the series, and I just finished listening to the 8th—I cannot get enough. Jessi is a woman in her midlife who moves away from her old life to take up residence in a house that is sort of alive. This series is perfect if you want lots of relatable humor, action, magic, and a really hot guy to burn for. I mean, Austin is kind of everything. Not to mention a cast of side characters that will always provide great entertainment.

Sarah K. L. Wilson’s most recent release is an epic fantasy set in a world of paladin’s. She never ever disappoints me with the complexity of her stories or her characters. This has been a delight to read from cover to cover.
